We missed the parade by an hour, but were in time for the post-parade lunch feed.
On the drive to Missoula we did a little dip into Ovando, a small town we had visited on our last trip. There is a fly shop there you know. Like bike shops for me, Susan can not pass up a fly shop.
The little town was buzzing and we joined them for burgers and fixin’s for lunch, and a stroll through town. Town is more or less a circle of shops and a museum. And Lewis & Clark of course.
Lodging at the Inn was full up. But there were two alternatives for a mere $5 a night or whatever you could pay.
After Ovando, we headed for our friends Vicki and Ray where we would spend two nights. The blog post from there is out of place a few posts ago ;’-)
